In 2006, we invited our cousin Peter to join us down here for a week in June, as it was our Annual Bournemouth Open Golf Tournament. What a fabulous week,Peter,Maureen and I played all 6 days between us in different formats, Peter in the Seniors Stableford and again in the mens pairs at the last minute (a player had his partner drop out and Peter never to miss a game,said 'count me in !')Highlight of the week was Maureen upstaging us by winning the Ladies Strokeplay, but we all had a blast all week! .... All my mates and guys in the bar took Peter in as one of 'ours' during the week, and we will treasure that for ever!!
